Can I keep using Cloudflare DNS?

Yes. Set the website's record to DNS only (grey cloud) and point it to shieldify.ee. Cloudflare flattens a CNAME on the root domain automatically, and the rest of your DNS stays as it is.

Will my website go down while I switch?

No. You change one record, and while DNS updates visitors reach your server either way. If anything looks wrong, point the record back.

Can I run Cloudflare's proxy in front of Shieldify?

It is not recommended. Shieldify needs to see visitors directly to tell real people from attack traffic; behind another proxy every request would seem to come from that proxy.

Is Shieldify a CDN?

Shieldify focuses on keeping your website online and protected. It also speeds up delivery from your server with compression, connection reuse and safe caching of static files.
